Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™
District Performance License Agreement

This Agreement governs district-wide performance and educational use of Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ across multiple schools within one district.

This District Performance License Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Party Bands, LLC d/b/a PlymouthRock.org (“Licensor”) and the purchasing school district or educational organization (“Licensee”).

By purchasing, downloading, or using the materials associated with the District License, Licensee agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Scope of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, district-wide license to use Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ across multiple schools within the Licensee’s district for the licensed term.

This includes:

• Use by multiple schools and buildings within the same district
• Use by multiple principals, music teachers, classroom teachers, and directors
• Multiple productions and performances during the licensed term

2. Included Materials

The District License typically corresponds to a downloadable package (e.g. plymouthrock_district_license.zip) which includes:

• Everything included in the School License, such as:
  • Teacher Guide (PDF)
  • Student Script & Lead Sheet Booklets
  • Student Activity Booklets
  • Full MP3 Album (vocal tracks)
  • Backing / karaoke tracks
  • Printable lyric sheets and classroom materials
• Districtwide Print & Performance Rights
• Teacher Training / Professional Development materials (PDF, if provided)
• Behind-the-Music or introductory video content (if included)
• Extended audio stems bundle (for music directors, where offered)
• Districtwide promotional assets (posters, logos, or templates as provided)

3. Permitted Uses

Under this District License, Licensee may:

• Use the script, music, and educational materials at multiple schools within the same district for rehearsals, classroom instruction, and stage productions.
• Mount multiple productions at different schools and/or combined “all-district” productions during the licensed term.
• Print and distribute scripts, lyrics, and student materials for participating students and staff within the district.
• Share digital materials internally through district-approved, access-controlled platforms (LMS, staff portals, shared drives, etc.).
• Use included audio tracks for rehearsals, performances, and approved school or district events.

4. Performance Rights

The District License grants performance rights for:

• School-day assemblies and in-school performances at participating buildings
• Evening or weekend performances for families and the local community, including modestly ticketed events typical of school and district programs
• Combined or “all-district” performances featuring participating students from multiple schools

If Licensee anticipates large-scale commercial or public performances beyond typical school and district events, Licensee should contact Licensor to discuss additional permissions or a custom arrangement.

5. Printing and Internal Digital Sharing

Licensee may print and distribute materials to students and staff within the district as needed for rehearsals, classroom use, and performances.

Digital copies may be stored and shared internally on district-managed, access-controlled systems for the convenience of staff and students. Materials may not be posted publicly for unrestricted download.

6. Recordings and Streaming

Licensee may audio- or video-record performances of the show for internal and family use, including:

• Teacher review and professional development
• Student reflection and learning
• Limited sharing with families and school community via access-controlled platforms

Public posting of full performances (for example, an unrestricted YouTube upload) or broad public streaming may require a separate digital streaming license or written permission from Licensor.

7. Restrictions

Licensee may not:

• Transfer this license to another district, organization, or outside entity.
• Sell, sublicense, or distribute the script, recordings, or materials as stand-alone commercial products.
• Post downloadable copies of the materials on public-facing websites or portals.
• Make changes to the script, lyrics, or songs that materially alter the intent or authorship of the work without prior written permission from Licensor.
• Share files or login credentials with schools or organizations not part of the licensed district.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™, including the script, lyrics, music, characters, artwork, and recordings, are owned by Candido Bretto and licensed by Party Bands, LLC d/b/a PlymouthRock.org.

Copyright © 2025 Candido Bretto / Party Bands, LLC. All rights reserved. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of the materials to Licensee.

9. Credit Requirements

In programs, communications, and on-screen or spoken credits where appropriate, Licensee agrees to include the following credit (or substantially similar wording):

“Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ by Candido Bretto
Licensed for district-wide use through PlymouthRock.org”

10. Term and Renewal

This District License becomes effective on the effective date listed below and continues for the licensed term as specified in your purchase documentation or order summary (for example, a school year or multi-month period).

Renewal or extension beyond the original term requires a new agreement or purchase.

11. Termination

Licensor may terminate this Agreement if Licensee materially breaches its terms. Upon termination or expiration, Licensee agrees to:

• Cease mounting new productions under this license; and
• Remove downloadable copies of the materials from publicly accessible locations and from systems not needed for archival records.

12. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Acceptance

Use of the materials associated with the District License, including rehearsal, printing, and performance of the show in multiple schools, constitutes Licensee’s acceptance of this District Performance License Agreement.
