PlymouthRock.org provides educational materials, music, scripts, history units, videos, lesson plans, printables, and licensing related to “Rockin’ the Secrets of Plymouth Rock” and associated content created by Candido Bretto and inspired by the book by Diane Finn.
All digital files, previews, PDFs, images, music recordings, and educational resources are the intellectual property of their respective creators.
2. No Educational, Legal, or Historical Warranty
Content on PlymouthRock.org is provided for educational, artistic, and entertainment purposes only.
The site does not guarantee:
- historical accuracy;
- curricular alignment for any district;
- compliance with state or national academic frameworks;
- suability for any particular classroom, grade level, or institution; or
- that the content will meet grant, funding, or procurement requirements.
Teachers and schools are responsible for ensuring local compliance.
3. Classroom Musical Licensing
Use of the script, music, videos, previews, or educational materials requires a valid license. Licensing grants permission to use, not ownership.
Purchasers agree to:

- avoid unauthorized duplication;
- avoid unauthorized classroom distribution;
- avoid posting pages, music, videos, or internal materials online; and
- comply with all terms of the License Agreement.
Unauthorized use may be subject to statutory damages under U.S. copyright law.
4. Indemnification
By accessing PlymouthRock.org or using any related material, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless:
Party Bands, LLC, PlymouthRock.org, Candido Bretto, licensors, employees, contributors, and affiliates
from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- your use of the website or materials;
- your hosting of school rehearsals, concerts, musicals, or events;
- any technology or equipment used to play music, videos, or karaoke tracks;
- injuries or incidents occurring during rehearsals, performances, field trips, or class activities;
- student behavior, supervision, transportation, or school facility use;
- copyright violations;
- licensing violations;
- interpretations or misinterpretations of historical content; or
- your violation of any applicable laws or school policies.
This obligation survives termination of use.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- PlymouthRock.org, Party Bands, LLC, and Candido Bretto are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website, script, music, or educational materials.
- The total liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid for the specific license or product.
The Company is not responsible for:
- technical issues (file downloads, browser compatibility, printer errors);
- lost lesson time;
- canceled or postponed school events;
- quality of student or volunteer performances;
- district-level decisions regarding curriculum or performance rights;
- interpretation of historical themes or content; or
- third-party products (e.g., school sound systems, video projectors, or PA equipment).
All materials are provided “as is” and “as available.”
6. Performances, Rehearsals & School Activities
Teachers, staff, and administrators agree that all supervision, safety, and compliance are the responsibility of the school or organization, not PlymouthRock.org.
This includes:
- supervision of children;
- securing venues;
- behavior management;
- A/V setup;
- accessibility accommodations; and
- adherence to school safety policies.
The Company has no role in onsite production of any event.
7. Intellectual Property & Copyright Protection
All scripts, sheet music, recordings, illustrations, PDFs, teacher guides, student materials, previews, and digital assets are protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
You may not:
- redistribute materials outside your licensed production;
- remove or obscure copyright notices;
- post materials online without written permission;
- create derivative works;
- share files with unlicensed schools or teachers;
- upload videos or performances without the required rights; or
- remove watermarks or download protections.
Copyright is essential to supporting independent creators and ensuring the continuation of educational art programs.
8. Force Majeure
PlymouthRock.org is not responsible for issues caused by events outside its control, including:
- weather;
- illness;
- school closures;
- natural disasters;
- strikes;
- technology outages; or
- acts of God.
Licenses are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
9. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By using PlymouthRock.org, downloading materials, requesting previews, purchasing licenses, or presenting performances, you acknowledge and agree to this entire Indemnification & Limitation of Liability Statement.
