Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™
School Performance License Agreement
This Agreement governs schoolwide use of Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ within a single school.
This School Performance License Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between
Party Bands, LLC d/b/a PlymouthRock.org (“Licensor”) and the purchasing educational
institution (“Licensee”).
By purchasing, downloading, or using the licensed materials, Licensee agrees to the terms of this Agreement.
1. License Grant
Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the
licensed materials to produce Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ within a
single school during one academic year.
This School License includes:
- Use by multiple teachers within the same school.
- Access by multiple classrooms and instructional groups in that school.
- Rehearsals and instructional use related to schoolwide performances.
- Up to three (3) live performances at the licensed school.
No rights are granted beyond those expressly stated in this Agreement.
2. Licensed Materials Covered
This Agreement covers all materials included in the
plymouthrock_school_license.zip package, including:

All materials from the Single-Class License, including:
- Teacher Guide (PDF)
- Teacher Edition – Detailed (with Supplements A, B, C, D)
- Student Script & Lead Sheet Booklet (PDF)
- Student Activity Booklet (PDF)
- Full MP3 Album (12 tracks)
- Karaoke / Accompaniment Tracks
- Piano Accompaniment Songbook (no lyrics)
- Printable Lyrics Sheets (PDF)
B. Additional School License Materials
- Schoolwide Print Rights
- Schoolwide Performance Rights (up to 3 shows)
- Editable Program Template (DOCX)
- Poster Artwork (PNG + PDF)
- Selected Audio Stems (for music directors, if offered)
All materials remain the intellectual property of Licensor and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

Your School License includes access to a customized
School Professional Development (PD) Guide designed specifically for:
- Principals and school administrators
- Music and performing arts teachers
- Classroom teachers integrating history & literacy

and scheduling tips tailored for schools.

3. Permitted Uses
Under this School License, Licensee may:
- Share licensed files internally among staff within the single licensed school.
- Print or duplicate materials as reasonably needed for participating classes at that school.
- Stage up to three (3) live performances on the licensed school’s campus.
- Use the program template to create customized printed or digital programs for this school’s performances.
- Use the poster artwork to create printed or digital posters promoting performances within the school community.
- Use selected audio stems for rehearsal, mixing within the school, and live accompaniment.
- Designate one staff member as a “production coordinator” to manage internal file access.
- Maintain one internal archival copy of key materials after the license year, for recordkeeping only (not for reuse or re-performance).
4. Prohibited Uses
Licensee may not:
- Share or distribute licensed materials outside the licensed school (e.g., to other schools or districts).
- Transfer or “loan” this license to another school, campus, or organization.

Upload licensed materials to public or semi-public platforms, including but not limited to:
YouTube, Vimeo, social media, public websites, or open file-sharing services.

Upload full materials to learning management systems (LMS) in a way that makes them accessible
beyond the licensed school community.
- Sell, resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially distribute the licensed materials.
- Use the materials for additional years or seasons without purchasing a renewed license.
- Use audio stems outside the context of this school’s production or share stems externally.

Record, film, or livestream complete performances or substantial portions of the show for
public distribution, posting, or broadcast, unless a separate written streaming/additional
rights agreement has been purchased.

Use the production primarily as a fundraising vehicle with ticket sales, sponsorships, or
paid recordings without prior written approval from Licensor.
5. Performance Terms
This School License allows:
- Up to three (3) live performances at the licensed school during one academic year.
- An audience drawn from the school community (students, families, teachers, staff, local community members).
- Use of the included promotional artwork and templates for school-based promotion.
Unless separately approved in writing, the School License does not allow:
- Televised, livestreamed, or publicly streamed performances.
- Commercial ticketed events or revenue-sharing arrangements beyond typical school event practices.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials associated with Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ are owned by
Candido Bretto and licensed by Party Bands, LLC d/b/a PlymouthRock.org.

All rights reserved. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of the materials to Licensee.
7. Credit Requirement
Programs, posters, and announcements for performances under this School License must include the following
credit (or substantially similar wording):
“Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock™ by Candido Bretto
Licensed through PlymouthRock.org”
8. Term and Termination
This license becomes effective on the effective date listed below and remains in effect through the end
of one academic year for the licensed school.
Licensor may terminate this Agreement immediately if Licensee breaches any term of this Agreement.
Upon termination or expiration, Licensee agrees to:
- Cease all performances and rehearsals of the show; and
- Delete all digital copies of licensed materials from local drives, servers, and cloud storage; and
- Shred or otherwise destroy printed copies that are not retained purely as internal school records.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
The licensed materials are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied,
including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Licensor
does not guarantee any particular educational, artistic, or financial outcome from performances or use
of the materials.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Acceptance
Use of the licensed materials constitutes the Licensee’s acceptance of this School Performance License Agreement.
