Song #2 Fine Day
STUDENT 2 So wait a minute, if the rock wasn’t always here, where was it?
TEACHER Not far from here. It was on the shore in Plymouth Harbor, right where the sea met the sand. I know the landscape looked different than it does now, but when you take away the buildings and boats, this beach area is pretty much the same now as it was back then.
ABBY It’s beautiful.
TEACHER It sure is. With the sun and water shining, it’s a nice spot
Play song #2: Fine Day
Plymouth Rock joins in singing along with the children during the 2nd verse
WILL Whoa, did the rock just talk?
PLYMOUTH ROCK No, I just sang.
CLASS Wow!
STUDENT 2 So wait a minute, if you weren't always here Plymouth Rock, where were you?
PLYMOUTH ROCK Not far from here. First I was at the Town Square, then the Pilgrim Hall Museum. And then I was brought back home, right here, where the sea meets the sand. The landscape looked different than it does now, but when you take away the buildings and boats, this beach area is pretty much the same now as it was back then.
